American Club Sandwich

American Wheat Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of toasted wheat bread
  • 200 g of grilled chicken breast (about 100 g per sandwich)
  • 4 slices of crispy bacon
  • 1 large juicy tomato, sliced
  • 1 green cucumber, cut into thin slices
  • Fresh lettuce, such as butter lettuce leaves or arugula leaves
  • Sprouts, for decoration
  • Mayonnaise

Preparation:

Step 1
Grill the chicken breast on a grill or grill pan until golden. Meanwhile, bake the bacon in a skillet or in the oven until crispy.
Step 2
Place slices of toasted bread in the toaster and toast until golden and crispy. Spread a layer of mayonnaise on two slices of bread. Lay a few lettuce leaves, then a sliced chicken breast, tomato slices and cucumber slices. On top of that, add slices of bacon. Cover with the second slices of bread.
Step 3
Serve the sandwiches on a plate and garnish them with additional sprouts. You can also serve them with your favorite toppings, such as chips or pickles.
