NPD Specialist/Technologist
Your responsibilities
-
Independent management of new product development (NPD) projects – from the concept stage of recipe creation, through technological trials, to implementation in serial production

Developing and optimizing food product recipes in accordance with the requirements of retail chains and customers

Planning and coordinating technological trials on production lines
-
Collaboration with the Marketing and Sales departments to develop the product category
-
Cooperation with the Purchasing Department to optimize raw material costs and source new production raw materials
-
Analysis of raw material and process costs and optimization of technological solutions on the line
-
Ensuring that projects comply with applicable food law regulations and food quality and safety standards (HACCP, GMP)

Participation in the implementation of new technologies and the creation of new production lines

Requirements description
-
Professional experience in the food industry (preferably in the bakery and confectionery industry or additives for the bakery and confectionery industry)

Experience in independently managing technology and NPD projects
-
Higher education in a relevant field (Food Technology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related)
-
Very good knowledge of English (a prerequisite due to working in an international team); knowledge of German will be an additional advantage

Practical knowledge of technological processes and raw materials used in the baking and confectionery industry

Excellent organization of one's own work and ability to work in a team

Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)

Communication skills and ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
